Memorial Day in Omaha!

While Scott and his buddies had a very successful fishing weekend, Hayden, my mom, and I flew to Omaha for 4 days. It was so nice to see everyone back home! We went to the zoo on Friday with my dad and step mom. Hayden had so much fun seeing all of the animals! We ate, and ate, and ate while we were there. (Isn't that the best part?) :) Friday night, we went to the best pizza place in town, "Big Freds". Yummy!! Saturday afternoon, my BFF and I went to get matching tattoos. That's right, I got a tattoo while I was there! It's a small hot pink Hibiscus flower with "BFF" written under the flower. Yeah...it hurt a little! Saturday night my best friend had a cookout at her house. There were several couples there with their kids so Hayden enjoyed that! Sunday, my mom, Hayden, and I went to the cemetary to take flowers to my grandmother's grave. Boy do I miss going to Omaha to see her!!! Finally, Sunday evening I went to the casinos with my dad and step mom. I wasn't lucky at all that night but we had a lot of fun. We all went to lunch on Monday and then it was off to the airport for the flight back to the Low Country. Hayden had a ball on the plane!! He did so good!
