Happy Easter!!!!!

We had a great Easter this year! We colored Easter eggs last night and left some carrots for the Easter Bunny! Hayden got up bright and early race downstairs in search for his basket that the Easter Bunny left for him. Grandma also had some goodies for both her grandbabies. Poor Scott has to work weekends this month and was on 12 hour shifts this weekend so he didn't get home until 9:00 this morning and had to go right to bed. When he woke up later this afternoon, we grilled steaks and had an Easter Egg hunt in the backyard. It was a very fun day!

More Logan pics!

We have enjoyed Having Logan home so much! Maternity Leave is wonderful and Scott was able to stay home with us for 3 full weeks! My mom was such a HUGE help! She stayed for the first 2 weeks and did everything for us! She cooked, cleaned, took Hayden to school every day and picked him up, laundry, went to the store, and SO many other things! I don't know what we would have done without her!!! Having a two story house after a c-section is horrible! THANK YOU MOM!!!!!! :) Logan has had 2 check ups so far and is doing great! He's up to 8 lbs 3 ozs and 20 1/2 inches long. We have had many visitors and lots of flowers, cookies, and other goodies delivered to the house. Everyone has been so thoughtful!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! :)

We had the Best St. Patrick's Day EVER with the birth of our son Logan Ray Bowers! He was delivered by c-section at East Cooper Medical Center in Mount Pleasant. Logan was born at 8:00AM on Tuesday March 17th! He weighed 7 lbs 15 ozs and was 20 inches long! Hayden is SOOOOOO very excited and is thrilled to finally be a big brother!

Happy Belated Birthday!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!!

Scott and I were able to have a date night by ourselves last weekend to celebrate with dinner and a movie. When I got home from work last night...Hayden and Scott had a surprise waiting for me on the kitchen table. They did good!!! :) Last night the three of us went to Outback for dinner. I was already full from Blooming Onion, salad, and bread before they even brought our dinner. It was so good and we had a great time spending time together! I love my boys so much and can't wait until 'lil Logan gets here in about a month! :)

Daddy's Home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today had to have been one of the happiest days in Hayden and my life!! Daddy came home this morning after being overseas for 4 very long months! What made this one especially hard was him missing all of the holidays. Hayden was so anxious this morning that we ended up leaving the house an hour and 15 minutes before Daddy's plane was supposed to be here! I drove around...slowly taking the longest route possible to the airport with hopes to kill some time. We finally arrived at 9:35AM and Daddy's flight was not scheduled to arrive until 10:16AM. We walked in and checked the board and it said his flight was delayed 35 minutes. GREAT! What am I going to do with a VERY EXCITED 4 year old for over an hour???? What else...EAT!!!! ;) Okay...a little preggo humor! Well, 35 minutes ended up turning into an hour delay. FINALLY...we saw daddy's plane land and taxi to the gate. Hayden was SOOOOOO excited to finally see his Daddy (as you clearly see in thse photos!) We have had a great day...I think Hayden has attached himself to Daddy's hip! ;) We are so proud of you Daddy and couldn't be happier to have you home safe and sound! We love you!

I do have to give a big THANK YOU to my dear mother! She basically gave up all of her free time to come to Charleston every weekend to help me and spend time with Hayden. Being pregnant, taking care of a 4 year old, house work, yard, preparing for the holidays, and working a full time job...I don't know what I would have done without her this whole time! Thank you so much mom! You are by far the BEST MOM EVER!

Christmas!

Christmas with Hayden was the best year yet! I only wish Scott would have been here to experience everything but not to worry...I video taped everything so that he could watch it when he gets home! Grandma spent the entire week with us and oh we had so much fun! She was also a HUGE help! I don't know what I would have done without her! Christmas Eve, her and Hayden made Christmas sugar cookies from scratch. I made the icing from scratch and Hayden and I were in charge of decorating the cookies. After we got done, we picked one out especially for Santa along with a cup of milk. Hayden was so excited I thought he would never fall asleep! Before we knew it, it was Christmas morning and Hayden was waking us up bright and early. It seemed like it took forever for Hayden to get all of his presents open but he was so excited and thankful for each gift Santa brought!

We were disappointed to have missed all of the celebrations that day at Grandma Shirley's in Camden. We will be there next year for sure! Hayden, Grandma, and I had a wonderful Christmas dinner and it was a very relaxing day and evening at home. We missed Daddy so much that day! We're already looking forward to next Christmas when Daddy can be here along with baby Logan! We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and Happy New Year!
