CAA Harbor Cruise!

The Charleston Apartment Association had it's annual Harbor Cruise on Friday night. What a blast we all had! I have to admit, it would have been a lot more fun if I could have drank more than Sprite with lime!!! :) It was still a great time! I love the girls I work with and it was great seeing other property managers that I've gotten to know over the years!

Happy Birthday Grandma!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to Grandma!!!! Scott and I both had to work all weekend but we are thinking of you and love you! We hope you enjoy your very special day!!!

Fun Day at the Water Park!

The three of us had a fantastic time at the water park on Friday! Hayden met a little boy there and they had so much fun on the water slides! We lounged in the lazy river, got knocked around in the wave pool, and ate a delicious lunch poolside! The weather was great! It was so nice to spend the afternoon together after Scott has been working such long hours.

Boating on the River

Last Sunday we had a fun family day boating on the river! We found a great little beach spot where Hayden played ball and went swimming. No alligators around thank goodness! (None that we could see anyway!) It was lazy time for me floating on my raft most of the day. We did a lot of driving around looking at different things and wishing we lived in one of those nice houses on the water! We ate a great seafood lunch at Gillighan's...right on the river. We had a very nice day just enjoying time with eachother.

Fun Beach Day!!!

While poor Scott was busy working 12 hour shifts, My mom, Hayden, and I had a fun day at the Beach! It was packed and very hot but we had a great day! Hayden had a blast laying on the sand while the waves crashed over him. My mom sat in her beach chair and relaxed down by the water. I chilled out under the umbrella most of the day catching up on my US Magazine's! Hayden is already bugging me about going back! :)

Hayden's going to be a big brother!!!!!!!!!

We are happy to announce that there will be a new addition to the Bowers Family! Hayden is finally going to be a Big Brother! I am due on March 22nd so thankfully I will not have to go through another VERY hot summer being 9 months pregnant! :) We are so very excited about the new baby on the way but Hayden is the most excited of all! If I could only get him to understand why he can't see the baby for quite some time yet. LOL He keeps telling me he's going to be the best big brother and he can't wait to help me with the new baby.

Happy 4th of July!!!!!

We really enjoyed the 4th of July this year! During the early afternoon, we lounged in the pool and Scott grilled out delicious hamburgers. My mom made cupcakes with Red, White, and Blue frosting. The burgers and cupcakes were so yummy!! Around 4:30, we headed to the summerville festival and parade. Hayden ran into a buddy from school and they had to get their pics taken together. It was so cute! We met up with some friends of ours Terri, Roy, and their daughter Kinsey. Hayden and Kinsey had a blast. They went down the bouncy slide, got their picture taken in the Fire Truck, and watched the parade together. Around 7:30, we went over to the ball fields to wait for the Fireworks to start. Hayden had fun running around and playing with some kids he met. The Fireworks were AMAZING! Hayden was amazed at how big and loud they were. Lastly, we went home and had a fireworks show of our own. Thank you Scott for giving us such a great fireworks display!

Jeff Dunham Show in Columbia

Scott and I went to see Jeff Dunham in Columbia about two weeks ago. For those of you who don't know who he is, he's a comedian - ventrilequist. He's been around over 20 years but just recently started touring around the country. He's performed on cruise ships, he's been on Comedy Central a few times, and has made appearances on the Johnny Carson show, Jay Leno, ESPN, and others. He is a riot! The tickets were my Mother's Day gift from Scott. We had third row...almost center... seats. It was GREAT! My cheeks hurt so bad from laughing after about only 10 minutes. After the show, Jeff threw out about 10 free t-shirts to the crowd and Scott caught one for me!!! I say it's for me because it's purple with his peanut character on it. Something I don't think Scott will wear in his lifetime. :)
