I'm sure everyone has heard about the terrible Mall Shooting in my hometown, Omaha Nebraska. My mom and I have spoken to most of our family and friends and everyone seems to be okay. Until all of the names of the victims are released, I won't know for sure. I have been to this mall hundreds of times since I was a little girl. It's always very scary and shocking when something like this happens in a place that's so familiar. My Best Friend Jennie's sister works part time in the gift wrap/customer service area of the Von Maur store where the shootings happened. She was not working today. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone back home and their families.

Omaha Mall Shooting

You were the first I thought of when I saw this on the news. I'm so glad your family wasn't there at the time. What is this world coming to?
I had the same thought, and was so glad to know you had posted you were already at home...I hope that none of the people you know personally were involved and to all that were, I amd sending them a CYBER HUG { } What a cowardly thing to do and for such a stupid reason!
